Sharon came to the security and video surveillance industry with twenty-two years of executive management experience in healthcare, having been a medical administrator for both Advocate and HCA hospitals. Building from those roles – in which quality, safety and consistency are critical – she took a turn towards technology, becoming the CEO and President of a company specializing in security and digital video surveillance. During the ensuing five years, Sharon recognized emerging business opportunities from offering improved easy-to-use Internet-based video recording and management. The development and start-up of Secure-i more than two years ago is a direct result of that recognition coupled with her focused drive to create a highly valued lower cost competitive alternative to the traditional on-site video recording systems. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing as well as a Master’s degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her strategic role, Sharon also oversees and directs all administrative operations of Secure-i.
